Khaliya Top Trek – A Scenic Himalayan Meadow Experience
Travel to the Himalayas has always been about seeking peace, nature, and adventure. Among the many gems of Kumaon, the Khaliya Top Trek (3,500 m / 11,482 ft) near Munsiyari stands out as a perfect blend of accessibility, natural beauty, and Himalayan grandeur.
This short and rewarding trek takes you through dense oak and rhododendron forests, vast alpine meadows (bugyals), and panoramic Himalayan vistas. Unlike long expeditions such as Milam Glacier, Khaliya Top is ideal for those who want a high-altitude experience in just 4–5 days.

Some trekkers come here for the thrill of camping under starry skies, while others seek the serenity of Himalayan meadows and the cultural warmth of Kumaon villages. Either way, Khaliya Top is not just a trek but a rejuvenating Himalayan experience.
